Jeremy Edwardson, Deputy Project Leader for the Everglades Headwaters National Wildlife Refuge Complex, will give a presentation at the PIPS' June meeting.  Jeremy will give a brief overview of the Refuges under their responsibility in the Complex, an update of Refuge staff comings and goings, visitor and volunteer opportunities, and future plans.  The meeting is open to everyone is welcome so please join us!

Our original scheduled speaker was PIPS member Sandy Peterson.  Sandy is a great bird photographer and we plan to have him back in the coming season, to give his slideshow of birds from Pelican Island NWR and the Stick Marsh.  The image of the spoonbill in this posting is one of Sandy's photos.
